The handle of Siivo's popular squeegee mop has been redesigned using two-component technology (2K injection molding), combining strength and ease of use into a single seamless structure.
The rigid, glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene body gives the handle structural durability, while the soft thermoplastic rubber section provides a secure grip even in wet conditions. Because the materials are molded together as one piece, the soft coating won't detach during use, and there are no gaps at the joint where dirt or moisture could accumulate.
The ergonomic design reduces hand strain during extended use, and the modern grey tone gives the product a sleek, timeless look.
Could your product benefit from the 2K method too?
We offer the same two-component manufacturing expertise to our customers as well. If your product combines hardness and softness, durability and comfort of use, or requires a seamless, hygienic material bond, we can help — from design all the way to series production. Come talk to us at our trade fair booth, and let's explore together how the method could work for your products.
